Norma Dean Loper

Funeral services for Norma Dean Fuson Loper, 69, of Ashburn, GA will be held, 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Perry Funeral Chapel. Ms. Loper passed away Monday at her residence following a long illness. Interment will follow in the New Hope Cemetery in Turner Co.

The daughter of the late Malcom and Elberta Nora Sandefer Fuson she was born in Middlesboro, KY and had lived in Turner Co. for over thirty years moving from Cordele, GA.. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and taking care of people. She was a member of The Morningside Baptist Church in Ashburn.

Survivors include her devoted companion, Al Hodges, Ashburn; her daughter, Nancy (Alton) Merritt, Rochelle, GA; her sons, William Gene Loper and his fiancé Suanne Geoghagan, Sycamore, GA, Joel Daniel (Cindy) Loper , Gregory George Loper all of Ashburn, GA, Steven Creg Loper, Willachoee, GA and Freddy (Angela) Jones of Macon, GA.; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Joe Edward Fuson, LaGrange, GA and her sister Hazel Wallace, Lanett, AL.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 25, from six until eight at Perry Funeral Chapel.
