Ima Mae Houston Nichols

Funeral services for Mrs. Ima Mae Houston Nichols, 94, of Snellville, GA will be held 12:30 PM, Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Perry Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Nichols passed away Monday in Snellville following an extended illness. Interment will be private in the Red Oak Cemetery in Worth Co., GA.

The daughter of the late Aaron Nicholas and Nina Estelle Hobby Houston, she was born in Worth Co., GA and was a member of The Warwick Baptist Church, Warwick, GA. She enjoyed reading, being with her family and was a homemaker. She was the widow of Roy Nichols and was also preceded in death by her sons, Marion F. Nichols and Carl Lee Nichols.

Survivors include her daughter and son in law, Bonnie and John Kosinski of Snellville, GA, her grandsons, John Kevin and his wife Fay Kosinski, Terry Nichols and Jerry Nichols; her granddaughters, Tammy N. Stovall and Debby Chitwood. A great granddaughter, Kelley Anne Kosinski and several other great grandchildren and her sister in law, Evelyn D. Houston, Warwick, GA.

The family will receive friends Thursday, January 5, at Perry Funeral Chapel from 11:30 until the hour of services.
