James Chadwick "Chad" Nicholson

Graveside Funeral Services for James Chadwick “Chad” Nicholson, age 41 of Sylvester will be held Wednesday at 11:00 A. M. at the Rose Hill Cemetery West Section in Ashburn. Mr. Nicholson died January 30, 2012 at Wilson Hospice House after an illness.

Mr. Nicholson was born in Ashburn, the son of the late Thomas Owen Nicholson Jr. who died in 2004 and Linda Gail Wilson Nicholson of Sylvester. He was a former nurse with Hospice in Atlanta and enjoyed gardening and landscaping and painting. In addition to his, father he was preceded in death by his grandparents A. K. Wilson and Mary Swain Wilson and Ann Richardson Nicholson and his Uncle Charles K. Wilson and his Aunt Joann Halligan.

Survivors include his mother Linda Gail Wilson Nicholson, Sylvester, GA, a half-brother Logan Hemphill, Macon, GA, his grandfather Thomas Owen Nicholson Sr., Gainesville, GA, and his Uncle Roger (Faye) Wilson, and Aunt Frances Wilson of Rebecca, GA.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 P. M. until 7:30 P. M. at the funeral home.
