Lonnie J. Coleman

Memorial services Lonnie J. Coleman, 66, of Ashburn will be held Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel. Mr. Coleman died Friday at Tift Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Coleman was born in Sylvester, Ga., the son of the late Alvin H. Coleman and Hazel Elnora House Coleman of Ashburn. He was the former owner and operator of the Seafood and More Restaurant in Ashburn. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict and was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Patsy Coleman Pate and his wife, Emily Sue Hendricks Coleman

Mr. Coleman is survived by his mother, Hazel E. Coleman, Ashburn, Grandchildren, Corey Pate and Lauren Pate both of Ashburn. Also surviving are two step sons, Bobby Keigans, Camilla,GA, Michael Keigans, Thomasville, GA; his brother, Leonard Coleman, Sycamore, GA and three step grandchildren, and a very special friend, Barbara Carter, Ashburn, Ga.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00-2:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel.
