Grace Tanner

Funeral services for Grace Tanner, 84, Ashburn, GA will be held Thursday, April 5, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn. Mrs. Tanner died Monday at Heritage Health Care in Ashburn following an extended illness.

Mrs. Tanner was born in Alma, GA, the daughter of Dave and Beulah Barber. She was the retired owner/operator of Grace’s Restaurant in Ashburn. She was a member of Christian Union Church of God in Ashburn, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlton Tanner and her son, Troy Tanner.

Mrs. Tanner is survived by her son, Ricky Tanner and her daughter, Patsy (Pondie) Chappell, all of Ashburn, GA. She is also survived by four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one brother, Carlos Barber, Fitzgerald, GA, and two sisters, Clovis Music, Alma, GA, and Dennie Nell Bagley, Fitzgerald, GA.

The family will receive friends, Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel.
