Marion Hill Young

Funeral Services for Marion Hill Young, age 85, of Rebecca, GA will be held Tuesday at 2:00 P. M. at the Rebecca Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Young’s Cemetery in Ben Hill County, GA. Mr. Young died May 20, 2012 at Langdale Hospice House in Valdosta after an extended illness.

Mr. Young was a native and lifelong resident of Rebecca the son of the late Clyde S. and Myra Mae Hill Young. He was a retired farmer and had served in the U. S. Army during World War Two. He was a member of the Rebecca Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his wife Mary Belle Maryes Young and two children Teresa Y. Bradford and Greg Young.

Survivors include his daughter Myra Y. (David) Purcell, Ringgold, Ga. and his grandchildren Rebecca Bradford, Benjamin Bradford, Shelley Bradford, Leila Purcell and Karlie Purcell and his great-grandchildren Teresa Hamilton and Ethan Lamb.

Family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. at Perry Funeral Chapel.
