Belinda Faye Nelson

Funeral services for Belinda Faye Nelson, 51, of Ashburn will be held Thursday at 11:00 A.M. at Trinity Baptist Church with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn. Mrs. Nelson died Monday at Tift Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.

Mrs. Nelson was born Albany, GA, the daughter of the late Walter Frank Hughes, Sr. and Hilda Louse Norman Hughes. She was a retired professional painter. She was preceded in death by one son, James Earnest Barnes, Jr.

She is survived by her husband Ricky H. Nelson, Ashburn, GA, three sons, Steven Bryan (Anne Marie) Barnes; James Anthony (Courtney Melise) Barnes, & Christopher Chad Barnes, all of Tifton, GA; one daughter, Katrina Dawn Nelson, Ashburn, GA; three brothers: Danny Hancock, Albany, GA, Walter Frank Hughes and Charles Edward Hughes, both of Ashburn, GA, and one sister, Peggy Norman, Ashburn, GA. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday at Perry Funeral Chapel.
