Ann Mae Bobo Jones

Funeral services for Ann Mae Bobo Jones, 72 of Sycamore, GA will be held Sunday, August 5, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at the Ashburn First Baptist Church with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn.

Ms. Jones was born in Turner County, Georgia and was the daughter of the late Lloyd W. and Ruby Lee Poole Bobo. She was a retired bus driver for the Turner County Board of Education. While serving as a bus driver, she was awarded a certificate for saving the life of one of her bus students. She was employed as a rural mail carrier for the United States Postal Service. She was a faithful member and avid church worker at High Hill Baptist Church.

Ms. Jones is survived by one daughter, Wanda Peak, Albany, Ga. and one son, Kevin Jones, Sycamore, Ga. Also surviving are three brothers, Richard Bobo, Macon, GA, Charles Bobo and Raymond Bobo both of Ashburn, GA.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn.
