Funeral services for Jeanelle Dukes Bell Albritton, 78, of Ashburn will be held Friday, August 24, 2012 at 3:00 P.M. at the Ashburn First Baptist Church with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn. Mrs. Albritton died Wednesday at Golden Living Center in Tifton following an extended illness.
Mrs. Albritton was born in Sycamore, GA, the daughter of the late Esker and Mary Viola Howard Dukes. She was a member of the Sycamore Baptist Church & the Fellowship Sunday School Class. She taught Sunday School for 35 years. She was a long time volunteer with the American Red Cross and former volunteer for Hospice of Tiftarea. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas B. Bell.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Albritton, her son, Michael (Wanda) Bell, her daughters, Ronnah Bell, & Janet (Greg) Gray all of Ashburn; her step children, Rev. Jimmy (Chris) Albritton, Moultrie, and Rene’ (Carl) Fortson, Ashburn. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Ashton & Laurel Bell, Thomas & Summer Gray, and five step grandchildren and nine step great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday from 2:00 P.M. until time of services at the Ashburn First Baptist Church.
