Clarice Watson Scott

Funeral services for Clarice Watson Scott, 91, of Tifton, GA will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 24, 2012 in The Ashburn First Baptist Church. Mrs. Scott passed away Tuesday at her residence following an extended illness. Interment will follow in the Antioch-Zion Hope Cemetery in Crisp Co., GA.

The daughter of the late Slaughter and Amzie Covington Watson, she was born in Warwick, GA and was a retired paraprofessional with The Turner Co. Board of Education. She was a member of The Ashburn First Baptist Church and Samaritan Sunday School Class.

Survivors include her daughter Patricia S. Barber, Tifton, GA; her sons, Danny (Jenny) Scott, West Columbia, SC and Douglas (Lee Ann) Scott, Culloden, GA. She is also survived by five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from six until eight at Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn.
