Evelyn Farmer Lane

Funeral services for Mrs. Evelyn Farmer Lane, 87, of Sycamore, GA will be held 2:30 PM, Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Sycamore Methodist Church. Mrs. Lane passed away Friday at Tift Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Interment will be in Bethel Cemetery in Turner Co., GA.

Mrs. Lane was born in Sycamore to James Wesley and Emily Lyon Farmer and was retired from The Ashburn Bank where she worked for 38 years. She was a member of Sycamore Methodist Church, where she had served as Church Clerk and Treasurer for a long number of years. She was the widow of Thomas Bradley Lane.

Survivors include her daughter Judy L. Rodgers of Conyers, GA.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:30 PM until the hour of the services at Sycamore Methodist Church.
