Quitman "Pete" Banks

Funeral services for Quitman “Pete” Banks, age 72, of Inverness, FL will be held Monday, January 14, 2013, at 11:00 A. M. at the Christian Union Church of God in Ashburn with burial to follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Mr. Banks died Wednesday in Inverness after an illness.

Mr. Banks was born in Montgomery County, GA the son of the late Henry L. and Sally Eunice Daniels Banks and was a retired Construction Superintendent.

Survivors include his wife Madlen Barnes Banks, Inverness, FL and his children Mitchell (Stacey) Banks, Gallant, AL, Michael (Cindy) Kennison, Sycamore, GA, David (Andrea) Kennison, Naples, FL, Thomas (Mary) Kennison, Hazelhurst, GA, Steven Kennison, Brunswick, GA, Salina Sisk, Homosassa, FL, Sherry Cox, Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Vicki (Louis), Caprino, Indiana, Lisa White, Hannibal, MO, Recinda Hinds, Brunswick, Ga. and his brothers and sisters Joe Banks, Valdosta, GA, Harry Banks, Chiefland, FL, Martha Ann Humphries, Murfreesboro, TN, Plassie Connelly, Lake Placid, FL; twenty eight Grandchildren and twenty-six Great-Grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday, January 14, 2013 at the church from 9:00 A. M. until 10:30 A. M.
