Clinton Lee Overby

Memorial services for Mr. Clinton Lee Overby, 71, of Norcross, GA will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013 at Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn. Mr. Overby passed away, Saturday, Jan. 19 at Embracing Hospice Care in Snellville, GA.

The son of the late Charles Henry and Beatrice Mangum Overby he was born in Rebecca, GA and was a member of The Rebecca Baptist Church in Rebecca, GA. Mr. Overby was a retired senior engineer with The Lanier World Wide Corp. and served in the US Army in the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his children, Rebecca Lee (Robert) Colvin, Lilburn, GA and Maria Elizabeth Overby, Douglasville, GA. A step son, Victor Manual (Michelle) Palumbo, Evanston, IL; the mother of his children, Maria Julia Overby, Douglasville, GA. Also surviving are three grandchildren, two step grandchildren and his brothers, Clarence (Carol) Overby, Verbena, AL and H. D. Overby, Winona, MO. A sister, Joyce Helen Burdge, Juliette, GA. Also he is survived by his eleven nieces and sixteen nephews.

The family will receive friends from noon till the hour of services on Saturday at Perry Funeral Chapel.
