Nettie Walker

Memorial graveside services for Mrs. Nettie Hill Walker, 77, of Ashburn, GA will be held, 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Walker passed away Wednesday at her residence following a brief illness.

The daughter of the late Carl C. and Vera Belle Mauldin Hill, she was born in Turner CO., GA and was the widow of Charles William Walker. She was the owner and operator of Nettie’s Beauty Shop for 45 years and a member of Sycamore Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her beauty shop and gardening.

Survivors include her children, Gary (Will) Walker, Macon, GA; Larry (Claire) Walker, Cordele, GA and Dale Walker, Ashburn, GA. Also surviving is five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A sister, Peggie H. Brown, Ashburn, GA.

The family will receive friends Friday night, from Six until eight at the residence at 200 West End Ave., Ashburn.
