Rex Evans

Funeral Services for Rex Evans, age 74, of Rebecca, Ga. will be held Wednesday at 2:00 P. M. at Perry Funeral Chapel, Ashburn with burial to follow in the Kimball Cemetery, Anderson City, Ga. Mr. Evans died July 1, 2013 at his residence after an extended illness.

Mr. Evans was a native of Rebecca, Georgia the son of the late Raymond Preston and Mary Louise Griffin Evans. He was a retired self employed construction worker. He was a member of the Rebecca Baptist Church and was in addition to his parents preceded in death by a son Terry Evans.

Survivors include his wife Royaline Hughes Evans, Rebecca and four sons Anthony (Rhonda) Evans, Albany, Steve (Judith) Evans, and Michael (Judi) Evans both of Macon, Ga. and Glenn Evans, Byron, Ga. and two brothers Bill (Annette) Evans, Macon, Ga. and Otis (JoAnn) Evans, Moultrie, Ga. and two sisters Marilyn (Joe) Hutchinson, Seymour, TN and Frances McGrit, Helen, Ga. and Ten Grandchildren and Six Great-Grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday July 3, 2013 from 12:00 until 1:30 P. M.
