George Loper

Funeral Services for George Loper, 61, of Ashburn will be held Friday, August 27, 2004 at 10:30 AM at Perry Funeral Chapel with interment to follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Mr. Loper passed away Tuesday in Turner Co. from injuries received in a motor vehicle accident.

A native of Worth Co., Ga., he was the son of the late Jack Loper and Lottie Mae Loper of Ashburn. A member of Morningside Baptist Church he was an electrician and plumber and had lived in Ashburn most of his life.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, William Gene Loper, Donalsonville, Ga., Joel Daniel Loper, Gregory George Loper, Steven Craig Loper all of Ashburn and Nancy Louise Sellars, Douglas, Ga. His brother and sisters, Lamar Loper of Ashburn, Erline L. Coats, Atlanta, Ga. and Geraldine L. Phelps, Ashburn, and nine grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 till 8 at Perry Funeral Chapel.
