Evelyn W. Sellars Mann

Funeral services for Mrs. Evelyn W. Sellars Mann, 80, of Ashburn, GA will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 23, 2013 in the Harmony Baptist Church. Mrs. Mann passed away Sunday at her residence following an extended illness. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The daughter of the late Harvey Ezekiel and Bennie Ruth Nelson Whiddon she was born in Ashburn where she lived most of her life. She was a member of the Harmony Baptist Church in Turner County and attended First Baptist Church of Warwick where she lived for many years. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Avery Sellars and Horace H. Mann, a son, former Sheriff of Turner County Donny A. Sellars, her brothers, former Sheriff of Turner County Lamar Whiddon and J. W. Whiddon, SR.

She is survived by her children, Kathy S. (Ronnie) Anderson and Richard D. Sellars all of Ashburn. Her step children, Marlyn Mann Price and Jeff Mann both of Worth County, GA. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Donnie Sellars, Christi S. Griffin, Wendy K. (Jeffrey) Hall, Ryan L. Kennedy, Rachael S. Peretz, Jessica S. (Dale) Hemphill, Crystal S. Castleberry, Brooke Pate, Summer Mann, Josh Mann, Rhonda A. (Hal) Peeples, Jill Price and Travis Price. Also surviving are twenty two great grandchildren, her sisters, Evon (Rex) Brooks of Riverview, FL and Elaine (Ray) Pritchard of Ashburn, GA.

The family will receive friends Tuesday morning from 9:30 AM till 10:30 AM at Harmony Baptist Church prior to services at 11:00 AM
