W. O. McNair, Sr.

Funeral Services for Mr. W. O. McNair, Sr. age 88 of Ashburn will be held Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. at the Dakota Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Dakota Cemetery. Mr. McNair died July 27, 2013 at Crisp Regional Medical Center.

A lifelong resident of Turner County he was the son of the late Robert Lafayette and Evie Lee Eubanks McNair. He was also preceded in death by his wife Minnie Obena Pate McNair and one grandson Ray McNair. He served in the Merchant Marines and was a member of the Dakota Baptist Church and was a Mason member of the Sycamore Lodge # 210, Ashburn.

Survivors include his children Odie (Brenda) McNair, Sycamore and Robert McNair, Junction City, Ga. and Penny (Greg) Thompson, Ashburn, his brother Gene McNair, Ashburn and two grandchildren Justin Ross Thompson, Ashburn, and William Channing McNair, Sycamore.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Perry Funeral Chapel, 301 McLendon St., Ashburn, Ga.
