Jamie Kersey

Funeral Services for Jamie Kersey, age 43 of Covington, GA will be held Saturday at 1:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel, Ashburn, Ga with burial to follow in the Rainey Cemetery. Mr. Kersey died August 10, 2013 after an extended illness.

Jamie was raised in Snellville, Ga. where he attended schools. Born in Albany, GA he was the son of Al and Mary Roberts Kersey and was of the Baptist Faith. He was a former Road Construction Engineer before his health failed him.

He is survived by his parents Al & Mary Roberts Kersey, Milledgeville and his daughter Kristen Kersey, Madison. A brother Al Kersey III, Lawrenceville and a sister Tammy Lynn Morgans-Gough, Eatonton and his paternal grandmother Dot Kersey, Covington and a large number of aunts and uncles and one nephew and cousins.

The family will receive friends Saturday, August 17, 2013, from eleven until twelve-thirty at Perry Funeral Chapel, 301 McLendon St., Ashburn, GA.
