William Kendall "Cotton" Shealy

William Kendall “Cotton” Shealy of Tifton, GA died Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at Tift Regional Medical Center. He was born August 18, 1946 to the late Cecil Wilbon Shealy Sr. and the late Ruth Barfield Shealy. He retired from the Department of Defense at Albany Marine Base. He joined the Air Force and served two tours in Viet Nam. Kendall was a member of the Morningside Baptist Church, Ashburn. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Cecil Wilbon Shealy, Jr.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Ann Shealy of 32 years of marriage. A daughter Marian Dawn Shaw and a grandson Zachary Wilbourn both of Leesburg, Ga. and a granddaughter Kaci Dawn Wilbourn of Thomasville, GA and a Great-grandson Austyn Hayden Bunn both of Thomasville, GA and his sisters Jerry Powell, Valdosta, Ga. and Beverly (Al) Harper, Perry, Ga. and Miriam (Beau) Talley, Loganville, GA and Dianne Childs, Monroe, GA and a brother-in-law Bill (Sarah) Hancock, Dunwoody, GA and Twenty One Nieces and Nephews.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 4:00 P. M. at Perry Funeral Chapel, Ashburn, Ga. The family will receive friends Saturday from 3:00 P.M. until time of Services at the funeral home.

Memorial may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, Disabled American Veterans and Hospice of Tiftare
