James Warren Nipper

Memorial services for James Warren Nipper, 81, of Ashburn, GA will be held Monday, January 13, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Perry Funeral Chapel. Mr. Nipper passed away Saturday at Tift Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Interment will be held at a later date at Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn.

The son of the late Virgil O. Harvard and Lou Alice Roland Nipper he was born in Turner County and was a retired farmer and employee of Fitzgerald Underwear Company. Mr. Nipper served his country in the US Army and was a member of The Oak Grove Baptist Church. He enjoyed farming, fishing and watching Westerns. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Marie Koon Nipper and a son Warren Stanley Nipper.

Survivors include his children, Scott (Eloise) Nipper of TyTy, GA; Pamela Golding and Patricia (David) Dove, a brother Johnnie Nipper all of Ashburn, GA.; Nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday from 1:30 PM at Perry Funeral Chapel until the hour of services.
