Bobby Joe Sumner

Funeral Services for Bobby Joe Sumner, age 74 will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Perry Funeral Chapel, Ashburn, GA with burial in the Tift Memorial Gardens. Tifton, GA. Mr. Sumner died February 15, 2014 at his residence.

Mr. Sumner was a native of Chula, GA the son of the late Walter Emerson and Winnie Mae Jordan Sumner. He was a long time resident of Turner County and was retired Owner and Operator of Sumner Wheel Alignment. He had served in the U. S. Army and was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include his wife Judy Sikes Sumner, Ashburn, GA and a son Joey (Karen) Sumner and two daughters Paige (Al) Stephenson both of Tifton, GA and Melissa (Charles) Dillard, of TyTy, GA and his grandchildren Rachel Sumner Ramsey, Hannah Sumner, Haley Dillard, Charley Dillard, Luke Stephenson, Sumner Stephenson, Isaac Stephenson and Rhett Stephenson, and one Great Grandchild Nicholas Ramsey.

The family will receive friends Tuesday morning prior to services from 10:00 A.M. until time of services
