Tom H. King

Graveside Memorial Services for Mr. Tom H. King, 70, of Rebecca, GA will be conducted, Saturday, April 5 2014, at 11:30 AM at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Bro. David Smith of Ashburn First Baptist Church officiating. Mr. King passed away Tuesday in a Macon, GA hospital following a brief illness.

Born in Rebecca on Dec. 16, 1943 he was the son of the late John W. and Mary Alice King. He was preceded in death by one sister Betty Horne, three brothers John Wallace King, William R. King and Frank Harold [Jack] King.

Shortly after graduating from Turner Co. High School, he was in the Army where he was stationed in Korea. After returning from the Military he was in Atlanta for many years, returning to Rebecca some 7 years ago.
Mr. King is survived by one son, Tom King Jr., his wife Michelle and two grandchildren, Steve and Shelby, all of Cumming Ga. Also surviving, three brothers, J.C. [Sandra] King of Chula, Ga. Delma King of Rebecca and Robert H. [Jonnie] King of Mineral Bluff, Ga. three sisters, Peggy [Roger] Shivers of Ashburn, Nan [James] Snow of Mineral Bluff, Ga. and Mary Elizabeth [J.J.] Wilson of Woodstock, Ga. One sister-in-law, Donna Long King of St. Mountain, Ga. Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
