Bobby Ray Walker, Jr.

Funeral Services for Bobby Ray Walker, Jr., age 51, of Cordele will be held Tuesday at 4:00 P.M. at the Ashburn 1st United Methodist Church with burial in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn. Mr. Walker died Sunday April 27, 2014 at Crisp Regional Hospital after a sudden illness.

Mr. Walker was a native of Americus, GA the son of Bobby Ray Walker, Sr.and the late Annie Margaret Stokes Walker. He was a retired Trooper from the Georgia State Patrol and a member of the Dooling Baptist Church, Byronville, GA.

Survivors include his wife Wendy W. Walker and his son Matthew Walker and his father Bobby R. Walker, Sr. all of Cordele, GA and his brother Mike (Shannon) Walker, Blackshear, GA

The family will receive friends Tuesday April 29, 2014 from 1:30 until 3:30 at the 1st United Methodist Church, 406 N. Main St., Ashburn
