Benny Cole

Funeral services for Benny Lee Cole, age 55, 620 Lloyd Road, Sycamore, Ga. will be held Thursday, November 11, 2004 at 11:00 AM at Bethel Baptist Church with burial to follow in Bethel Cemetery. Mr. Cole died Monday at his residence following an extended illness.

Mr. Cole was born in Lowndes County, Georgia and had resided in Turner County for the last 25 years. He was the son of the late Leroy & Ossie Lee Ganas Cole. He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church and was a retired Georgia Department of Transportation Permit Inspector Engineer.

Mr. Cole is survived by his wife Betty Solomon Cole, of Sycamore, Ga., one son, Jason Cole, of Sycamore, one daughter and son in law, Kim & Monty Pate, Sycamore, Ga. ; two grandchildren, Lexi and Ally Pate, both of Sycamore, Ga.; one brother, Bobby Cole, Lake Park, Ga. Mr. Cole was preceded in death by one brother Billy Cole and one sister, Betty Shelley.

Family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel.
