Tondra Denham

Funeral services for Tondra Denham, 46, of Sycamore, Ga. will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Bethel Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the Bethel cemetery. Tondra passed away Monday, June 16, 2014 at her residence following a brief illness.

The daughter of the late Arthur Thomas Denham and Brenda M. Lang, she was born in Turner County and had lived in Turner County all of her life. She was an avid horse lover from training, raising and competion events and still holds the AQHA State cloverleaf pattern record in Perry, Ga. Her main love was her daughter and grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter Tiffany (Steven) Metcalf, her mother, Brenda M. (Larry) Lang, her other father Carl (Gina) Wise of Williamson, Ga., her sisters, Shannan W. (Rick) Boland, of Sycamore, Ga., Kassie (Donnie) Newman of Williamson, Ga., her brother, Tony (Dana) Betts of Sparks, Ga., her grandchildren Graham, Halle and Leland Metcalf of Sycamore, Ga. Also surviving are three nieces and one nephew.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from five until seven at Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn. While flowers will be accepted, for those who wish, please make donations to the Tondra Denham Memorial Fund at South Georgia Banking Company in Ashburn.
