Mary Ann Pitts

Funeral services for Mary Ann Pitts, 71, of Ashburn, Georgia will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, July 21, 2014 at Perry Funeral Chapel, Inc. Interment will follow at the Sumner Cemetery in Worth County, Ga. Ms. Pitts passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014 following a short illness.

The daughter of the late Leo and Emma Boswell Thomas she was born in Newark, NJ. She was a homemaker and she had lived in Turner County, Ga for a long number of years. In addition to her parents, she was also preceeded in death by her son, Joe Jeffery.

Survivors include her husband, Charles "Crow" Pitts of Ashburn, Ga., sons Robert Jeffery Sr. of Ashburn, Ga., William H. (Millie) Jeffery of Sylvester, Ga., brother Leonard Thomas of Los Angeles, Ca.

The family will receive friends and family Sunday, July 20, 2014 from five until seven at the Perry Funeral Chapel.
