Carolyn Geoghagan

Funeral services for Carolyn Whiddon Geoghagan, 79, of Valdosta, Ga. will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at the Perry Funeral Chapel of Ashburn. Interment will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn. Mrs. Geoghagan passed away Sunday, August 24, 2014, at Crisp Regional Hospital.

The daughter of Robert J. Whiddon and Eva Louise Paulk Whiddon, she was born in Turner County, Ga. Mrs. Geoghagan was of Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her son, Randy Geoghagan, and a sister, Linda Whiddon.

Survivors include her son, Larry Geoghagan of Valdosta, Ga.; daughter, Susan (Herman) McCard of Ashburn, Ga.; brother, Julian Whiddon; grandchildren, Dawn Geoghagan(Donnie) Starling, McKenna McCard, Pyper McCard and Kimberly Alison Geoghagan and great-grandchildren, Ansley and Austin Starling. Also surviving is her daughter-in-law, Linda Geoghagan of Ashburn.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. until the hour of services at Perry Funeral Chapel.
