Lamar Keith Cochran

Funeral services for Lamar Keith Cochran of Ashburn, Ga., will be held at 4:00 p.m., Monday, September 1, 2014 at Perry Funeral Chapel, Inc. in Ashburn, Ga. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Ashburn, Ga. Mr. Cochran passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014 after a brief illness.

The son of the late Robert Jewel and Erlene Cochran, he was born in Turner County, Ga. He was an employee of City of Ashburn for 33 years. Mr. Cochran was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, Ashburn, Ga.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Dobbins Cochran, of Ashburn, Ga.; Nephews-- Tim (Ginger) Cochran of Lakeland, Ga.; Terry Cochran of Sycamore, Ga.; Niece-- Lisa Cochran Mosher of Atlanta, Ga.; Cousins-- Enice Lambert of Ashburn, Ga.; Leroy Evans of Rome, Ga. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Cochran.

The family will receive friends, Monday, September 1, 2014 from 2:30 until 4:00 at the Perry Funeral Chapel, Inc.
