Richard Arthur Willis

Funeral services for Mr. Richard Arthur Willis, 70, of Ashburn, GA will be held at Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 3:30 PM in The Sycamore Baptist Church in Sycamore, GA. Mr. Willis passed away Wednesday at Tift Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Interment will be later in Milledgeville, GA.

The son of the late Elijah Bartley and Gladys Mae Finley Willis, he was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and had lived in Turner County for the past fourteen years. Mr. Willis served his country in the US Marines and was a member of The Sycamore Baptist Church. He was retired from The General Electric Corporation as a repairman.

Survivors include his children, Uriah (Kiersten) Willis of Milledgeville, GA and Jessica Willis. His sisters, Lillian Hamilton of Cincinnati, OH, Doris Beck of Hampton Square, PA, Dorothy Gaines of Milford OH and Audrey Keaton of Fayetteville, OH. Also surviving are six grandchildren.
