Donna Arnold Pye

Donna Arnold Pye, 54, of 396 North Mattie Avenue, Sycamore, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2015 at her residence after an extended illness.

Born in Ashburn, Georgia to the late Leroy and Julia Faye Yarbrough Arnold, Mrs. Pye was a former nursing assistant employed by Golden South Personal Care Home. She was also a member New Prospect Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Merrill Pye of Ashburn; daughter, Amanda (Benjamin) Miss of Sycamore; two sons, Bruce Lee Pye of Millen, and Jason Merrill Pye of Millen; her mother, Faye Y. Arnold of Sycamore; sister, Linda (Joseph) Colombo of Wurtsboro, New York; six grandchildren, Sophia Miss, Carrie Pye, Dillon Pye, Ethan Pye, Wesley Pye, Whitley Pye; and one neice, Jacklyn Coats.

Mrs. Pye was preceded in death by a nephew, Michael Lee Smith.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 3:00 PM at the New Prospect Freewill Baptist Church with burial at New Prospect Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the funeral home Friday, January 30, 2015 from 7-9 PM.
