Bobby Brock

Funeral services for Bobby Brock, age 69, 925 McLendon St., Ashburn, will be held Friday, Dec. 31, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. at the Ashburn First Baptist Church with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mr. Brock died Wednesday at Phoebe Putney Hospital in Albany following a brief illness.

Mr. Brock was born in Turner County, Georgia and had resided in Turner County all of his life. He was the son of the late Ossie B. and Gladys Mixon Brock. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Ashburn First Baptist Church. He was a retired Operations Manager of the Gold Kist Store in Ashburn.

Mr. Brock is survived by his wife, Shirley Pate Brock, Ashburn, Ga., daughter and son in law, Judy B. & Allen Whitehead of Ashburn; two granddaughters, Allison & Rebecca Whitehead, Ashburn, and one sister, Mrs. Hazel Waldrip of Cordele, Ga.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel.
