Buford Williford

Buford Williford, 95, of Rebecca, Georgia passed away Thursday, March 5, 2015 following an extended illness.

The son of the late Benjamin Gula and Kate Newsome Williford, Mr. Williford was born on August 10, 1919 in Crisp County. He was a retired farmer and a member of Amboy Baptist Church.

Mr. Williford is survived by his son, Dale (Kay) Williford of Rebecca, Georgia; Daughter, Phyllis W. (Dennis) McEnaney of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; sisters, Virginia (Oscar) Wilkerson of Rebecca, Georgia and Dorothy (Harold) Jackson of Cordele, Georgia; grandchildren, Scott Williford, Todd Williford, Kevin McEnaney, and Kelly Franklin; eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 8, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Perry Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends beginning at 1:30 PM until the hour of the service on Sunday.
