Vera Esteene Odom

Graveside Funeral Services for Vera Esteene Odom, age 90, of Ashburn will be held Thursday, January 27, 2005, at 11:00 A. M. at the Odom-Story Cemetery in Worth County, Georgia. Miss Odom died Monday at Crisp Regional Medical Center after a long illness.

Miss Odom was a native of Crisp County, Ga. the daughter of the late James Henry and Leffie Eugene Maddox Odom. She was a retired farmer and a member of the Haw Pond Baptist Church in Crisp County. She was a longtime resident of Turner County before moving to Cordele Health and Rehabilitation Center several years ago.

She is survived by two brothers Ruis “Skeet” Odom, Arabi, Ga. and Joe Odom, Ashburn, Ga. and two sisters Catherine O. Vinson, Rebecca, Ga. Wynette O. Smith, Arabi, Ga. and a large number of nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home Seven until Nine Wednesday evening.
