Katherine Brooks Alberson

Mrs. Katherine Brooks Alberson, 82, of TyTy, GA passed away Monday, April 6, 2015 at her residence following an extended illness. Services will be private.

The daughter of the late Ned Tom and Willie Mae Hartsfield Brooks, she was born in Colquitt County, GA and was a homemaker. She had resided in Worth County for the last twenty years. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Estell Brooks and her brothers, Roy Brooks and Everette Brooks.

Survivors include her husband, John Alberson of TyTy, GA, her daughter, Barbara (Versel) Alberson Kane of Worth County, GA, her grandchildren, Carrie Easterly Martin of Wachaw, NC, Sheila Easterly Chung of Dublin, OH and Harold Martin of Madison, GA. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Zachery Chung, Josh Martin, Zachary Martin and Dawson Martin.
