Thomas (Tom) Dillon

Graveside Funeral services for Thomas (Tom) Dillon, 87, of Sycamore, GA will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Turner County, GA. Mr. Thomas passed away Friday, May 22, 2015 after an extended illness.

The son of the late Chester Silas and Bertha Mae Deal Dillon, he was born in Ragsdale, IN, on July 21, 1927. He was a retired self-employed Truck Driver, a former Coal Miner with Sunshine Coal in Bicknell, IN, and a former City Council member for the city of Sycamore, GA. He was a member of the Baptist Faith. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by one son, Michael Dillon.

Survivors include his wife Mary Walker Dillon of Sycamore, GA, one daughter Marjorie Cutsinger of Ormond Beach, FL, three step-children Faye (Roger) Courson of Enigma, GA, Shane (Rita) Walker of Sparks, GA, Cindy (Mark) Blanchard of Enigma, GA, one brother Paul Dillon of Bicknell, IN, one sister Mary Small of Bicknell, IN and also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday evening, May 25, 2015, from six until eight at Perry Funeral Chapel.
