Louise Wise Cribbs

Louise Wise Cribbs, 91, of Ashburn passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Georgia Regional Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia.

Born on August 14, 1923 to the late Elven and Lillie Mitchell Wise Erwin, she retired from Best Manufacturing in Cordele where she was a seamstress. Mrs. Cribbs was also a member of Amboy Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth (Shirley) Cribbs of Ashburn; daughter, Lauvise (Billy) Hampton of Ashburn; brother, Carl (Sarah) Erwin of Blakley; and a sister, Betty (Marshall) Day of Blakley. She is also survived by two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, May 31, 2015 in Amboy Baptist Church with interment to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 4-6 PM Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Perry Funeral Chapel.
