Jeanette Hanner

Funeral services for Jeanette Hanner, 82, of Ashburn, GA will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn. Mrs. Hanner passed away Wednesday following an extended illness. Interment will be private.

The daughter of the late Elisha and Tommie Frady Studdard, she was born in Dallas County, AL and was co-owner of Lawson Furniture Co.. She was the widow of the late Hilrey Averitt “H.A.” Hanner. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Angie Richter and a grandchild Jeff Richter.

A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she worked with her husband in the furniture business for a long number of years. She enjoyed her retirement with her husband and family. She was a member of the Ashburn First Baptist Church. She also enjoyed working in her yards, was an excellent seamstress and very talented in home décor which she often used in the furniture business. She will be missed the most by her precious puppy, “Prince” her faithful friend for life.

Survivors include her children, Marilyn (Earl) Perry and David (Kim) Hanner all of Ashburn. Her sisters, Sue McGinnis and Jennifer Koleszar both of Americus; her brother Mickey Studdard of Plains, GA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 AM until the hour of services at Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn.
