Rhoda Alberson

Funeral Services for Mrs. Rhoda P. Alberson, 70, of Ashburn, Ga. will be held 4:30, Tuesday at the Bethel Baptist Church with interment to follow in the Live Oak Cemetery in Turner Co. Mrs. Alberson passed away Saturday, May 7, 2005 at a Gainesville, FL. hospital following a short illness.

The daughter of the late Simon and Polly Lee Peace, she was born in Gatliff, KY. and was a long time resident of Forest Park, Ga. before moving back to Turner Co. in 1979. A member of the Bethel Baptist Church where she was a member of the WMU, The James Layfield Adult Sunday School Class and a former Choir member. She was a retired Contract Specialist for the Albany Marine Base. She was preceded in death by a son, Tommy Alberson in 1960.

Mrs. Alberson is survived by her husband, Reggie Alberson of Ashburn; her children, Alan Alberson of Ashburn, Steve Alberson and David Alberson both of Rebecca; a brother H. C. Peace of Crystal Beach, FL. and sisters, Aretta Johnson of Pensacola, FL. and Clara O’Hara of Ohio. Four Grandchildren and Three Great-Grandchildren.

The family will receive friends, Monday evening from 7 till 9 at Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn.
