Doyle Hitson

Doyle Hitson, 58, of Ashburn passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele after an extended illness.

Born on February 13, 1957 in Wilcox County to the late William and Nellie Mae Jones Hitson, he was a member of Bible Methodist Church in Cordele. Mr. Hitson was a farmer. Later in life he was a Groundskeeper on the golf course at Georgia Veteran's Memorial State Park in Cordele.

Mr. Hitson is survived by his wife, Linda Hitson of Ashburn; a son, John (Amy) Aultman of Sylvester; grandchildren, Robert Aultman, Brianna Aultman, Ryan Aultman and Jack Aultman. Several siblings also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, October 23, 2015 at Perry Funeral Chapel with a private interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 AM until the hour of service.
