Dorothy Taylor

Dorothy Taylor, 85, of Ashburn passed away Monday, December 7, 2015 at Pruitt Healthcare in Ashburn.

Born on April 23, 1930 to the late Arthur T. and Anne Lee McDonald Zorn, she was a member of Morningside Baptist Church. Mrs. Taylor retired from the clothing industry and she was also a former employee of the Turner County Board of Education. She also enjoyed being a homemaker. She was an active member of the Primetimers and Keenagers Club and of the Golden Girls Sunday School Class.

She is survived by her sons, Bill (Lindy) Taylor of Arabi and Tony Taylor of Ashburn; Grandchildren, Ivey Nicole Hamilton of Arabi and Lori Lee Leon of Tonopah, Nevada; Great-Grandchild, Kylee Nicole Hamilton of Arabi, Georgia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Robbley Neal Taylor. She was the widow of the late Dallas Junior Taylor.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Perry Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Snowridge Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at the funeral home.
