Georgia Muriel Shealy Stephens

Funeral Services for Georgia Muriel Shealy Stephens, 87,of Rockyface, GA will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn. Interment will be private. Mrs. Stephens passed away after an extended illness.

The daughter of Roscoe Leroy Shealy and Gertrude Indiana Cribb Shealy, she was born in Nashville, GA on October 20, 1928. She was a homemaker, housewife and a former member of Porterfield United Methodist Church of Albany, GA. She was a long term resident of Albany before her health began to fail her when she decided to move to be closer to her children. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Jeptha "Jake" Allen Stephens. She was also preceded in death by a sister Faye Shealy Tison.

Survivors include her two sons, Allen Keith (Jan) Stephens of Watkinsville, GA, George Lee (Phyllis) Stephens of Cordele, GA, two daugthers, Susan Stephens (Jackie) McCorkle of Rockyface, GA, Connie Marie Stephens (David) Cone of Rockyface, GA, a sister Frances Ellen Shealy Ellerbee of Musella, GA, nine grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends after the service on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Perry Funeral Chapel.
