Funeral Services for Rodney Walker, 45, of Ashburn, GA will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, January 21, 2016 at New Prospect Free Will Baptist Church in Ashburn, GA. Interment will follow at New Prospect Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Turner County. Mr. Walker passed away Monday, January 18, 2016 after an extended illness.

The son of the late James Milton Walker Jr. and Linda Diane Strawder Walker, he was born in Albany, GA on May 8, 1970. He was retired from Georgia Electric as an Industrial Maintenance Technician and a member of New Prospect Free Will Baptist Church in Ashburn, GA.

Survivors include his wife Staci Wilson Walker of Ashburn, GA., his children, Devin Elaine Walker of Hazlehurst, GA., Kamron Blake Walker of Ashburn, GA., and Tyler Blaine Walker of Ashburn, GA., his mother Linda Strawder Walker of Ashburn, GA., one granddaughter Mackenzie Claire Carter of Hazlehurst, GA., and one sister Selena W. (Tony) Yarbrough of Ashburn, GA.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, January 20, 2016 from six until eight at Perry Funeral Chapel.
