Eugene "Pa" F. Walker

Gene "Pa" F. Walker, 82 of Thomasville passed away Friday, April 29, 2016 at Pelham Parkway Nursing Home in Pelham, Georgia.

Born on July 3, 1933 to the late Allen Green and Emma Luke Walker, he was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Thomasville. Mr. Walker served his country with honor in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He retired from C&S Bank of Thomas County where he was the vice president.

He is survived by his wife, Hilda Rose Walker of Thomasville; son, Rev. Charles Allen (Kathy) Walker of Palmyra, Pennsylvania; daughter, Wanda (Tracy) Brown, Jr. of Coolidge; brother, Roy Walker of Tifton, grandchildren, Allison Walker, Zachary Walker, Jessy Harper, John Harper and Eugene Harper. Ten great-grandchildren also survive.

Graveside services will be held Friday, May 6, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn. There will also be a memorial service Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church in Thomasville.
