Mary Sunday

Graveside Funeral Services for Mary Sunday, 82, of Ashburn will be held 10:30 Tuesday, July 12, 2005 in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn. Mrs. Sunday passed away Saturday after an extended illness at the Ashburn Health Care.

She was born in Coffee Co., Ala. to the late Robert and Endie Williams Flowers and was a homemaker. She moved to Ashburn from West Point, Ga. in 1955. Mrs. Sunday was a member of the Church of God in Ashburn. Mrs. Sunday was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph M. Sunday on June 21, 1998 and a son-in-law, Horace “Buddy” McDonald on June 29, 2005.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Ramona Sunday of Sycamore and her daughter Shirley A. McDonald of Rebecca, Ga.; a brother Federal Flowers of Troy, Ala.; Five Grandchildren and Seven Great-Grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:30 till 8:30 at Perry Funeral Chapel.
