Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Verrell Reid Presley, 88, will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 5, 2016 in the family lot at Oklahoma Cemetery in Wilcox County, GA. Mrs. Presley passed away Friday, October 28, 2016 at Tift Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.
The daughter of the late Ames Moran and Bessie Iduma Seay Reid she was born in Ashburn and was a homemaker. Mrs. Presley was a member of The Oklahoma Baptist Church. She was the widow of Hubert Lee Presley.
Survivors include her children, Barbara (William) McGee of Fitzgerald, GA; Lee (Pattie) Presley of Duluth, GA and Danny Watson of Cordele, GA. Also her sister, Ophelia R. Burkhardt of Marietta, GA and her brothers, Don Reid of Valdosta, GA and Johnny Reid of Perry, GA. Also survivors include eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the cemetery just prior to and after the services.
