Kyle Brooks

Funeral Services Kyle M. Brooks, age 76, of 6340 Coverdale Highway, Ashburn will be held at 11:00 A. M. Saturday August 20, 2005, at the Perry Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Mr. Brooks died Thursday at Tift Regional Medical Center after a lengthy illness.

Mr. Brooks, a life long resident of Turner County was a native of Worth County, Ga. the son of the late Ira L. & Tula Hall Brooks. He was retired from the Marine Corp Logistics Base, Albany, Ga. and had served in the U. S. Air Force from 1946 until 1949. He was a member of the Sycamore Baptist Church, Sycamore, Ga. was a former Deacon at New Prospect United Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include his loving wife of 46 years Pat T. Brooks, a cherished daughter Teresa Brooks, a brother Troy Brooks all of the Ashburn, a sister Barbara B. Davis, Plano, Texas. He was preceded in death by his first wife Nell G. Reed Brooks, 1953, one daughter Dana Lynn Brooks, 1974 and one son Bobby Kyle Brooks, 1996.

The family will receive friends Friday evening 7:00 P. M. until 9:00 P. M. at the funeral home.
