Tom J. Smith, 86, of Ashburn passed away Thursday, January 26, 2016 at his residence.
Born on December 27, 1930 to the late Lummie Leonard Smith, he was a retired carpenter having worked for Player Incorporated. He was also a member of Bethel Baptist Church and loved watching western movies and woodworking. Mr. Smith was also a veteran of the United States Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Smith of Ashburn; daughter, Lisa Lamp (Richard) of Bonney Lake, Washington; step-children, Stacey Douglas of Ashburn and Jason Douglas of Ashburn.
He was preceded in death by the K-9 love of his life, Fancy and we hope they are together again.
Services for Mr. Smith will be private.
