Retha Britt Odom

Funeral Services for Retha Britt Odom, 91, of Ashburn, Ga. will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, November 11, 2005 at the Perry Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Turner Co., GA. Mrs. Odom passed away at her home, Tuesday following an extended illness.

The daughter of the late Charlie Oscar and Katie Irene Davis Britt she was born in Turner Co. A homemaker and seamstress she was the widow of Clyde P. “Jack” Odom. She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children, Joann Hughey of Concord, GA., Lynda East, Zebulon, GA. and William Donald Odom, Zebulon, GA., Thirteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Wednesday and Thursday evening from six until nine at Perry Funeral Chapel.
