Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Truelove, 87, of Ashburn, GA will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Perry Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Truelove passed away at her residence Sunday following an extended illness. Interment will follow in the New Prospect Cemetery in Turner County.
The daughter of the late Jimmy Doyle and Fannie Pearl Apperson McCook, she was born in Worth County, GA and was retired from Coats and Clark. A loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she was a faithful member of Assembly of God Church and attended Living Water Fellowship. She enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Roy Truelove, a brother, Samuel McCook and a sister Odeen Barnes.
Survivors include her children, Carlos (Genny) Truelove of Tifton; Gloria (Tommy) McNair of Warwick and Donna (Geoffrey) Pate of Arabi. Also surviving is a special niece Mary Ann (Mike) Stanaland of Tifton, her sister, Joyce Harris of Sycamore, eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Her pet, Little Girl. A special caretaker Latoya McCoy.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 at Perry Funeral Chapel.
